EDM and a whole lot of dancing

Steve Aoki FINALLY made his way to The Last Frontier thanks to Showdown Productions and Williwaw Social. These two businesses have been bringing (and are continuing to bring) bigger names up to our little isolated state and I can't wait to see what's next!

Pineo & Loeb was the first artist I was able to show up for, and they absolutely killed it. These guys are a Canadian group who came over to play for the show and Anchorage lit up when they danced and jumped on the table and in front of the crowd.

SAYMYNAME was a whole new ballgame. I've never experienced a bass drop so low than I did during his bass drop check. My entire being was vibrating from the speakers, and I was a good 800-1000 feet away from the speakers. It was quite a wild experience and he had a wild and chaotic energy, in the best way possible!

STEVE AOKIIII. This show was INSANE. I've never attended (let alone seen) a larger single night show in Anchorage so far. I've been photographing for 6 years now and have gotten the amazing privilege to shoot for so many bands and events. I can't remember the last time I couldn't see the back of the crowd standing up on the railings. It was awesome. I unfortunately had to leave the show right before the cake throws due to my allergy to the cold (it was an outdoor show, in 27 degree weather, and the wind started whipping through the streets JUST as it got dark making it feel like 15 degrees, and I legit nearly broke out in hives, so I left), but the photos were still phenomenal and it was an experience of a lifetime.

HUGE thanks and shoutout to Showdown Productions for getting me the media pass to have this insane opportunity and I can't wait to shoot with y'all in the future again!
